What the acre is for.
Summer kitchens, covered pavilions, pool terraces and long driveways for Plantation Acres properties, engineered for Broward wind loads, permitted through the City of Plantation, and delivered by a licensed, insured contractor who shows up.
Outdoor Living & Exterior in Plantation Acres
You bought the acre for this.
Nobody buys an acre in Plantation Acres for the interior. They buy it for what sits behind the house, then spend a decade not using it. The outdoor living projects that fix that tend to be substantial: a covered pavilion with a working summer kitchen, a pool deck that runs out toward a district canal in Melaleuca Isles, a run-in shed and paddock fencing, a circular drive that keeps guests off the swale. Plantation was founded on the idea of one-acre lots meant for growing things. Out here that idea survived.
A backyard build in Plantation Acres touches more agencies than people expect. The City of Plantation permits the structures and the trade work, and its landscape division issues tree removal and relocation permits under the city ordinance, which runs alongside Broward County's tree preservation rules. Canal-side lots sit inside the Plantation Acres Improvement District, whose maintenance easements and canal banks are not places to pour a slab. New exterior openings need HVHZ product approvals, and pavilion connections have to be engineered for Broward wind loads rather than assembled from a kit off a pallet.
We build exterior work to the same standard as the inside of the house. Gas, water and electrical runs to a summer kitchen get permitted and inspected rather than buried and forgotten. Pavilion footings are engineered and uplift connections are drawn by somebody who stamped them. Grading is planned so an August storm sheds toward the swale instead of the family room. A written scope you approve, someone from PGX here every working day, and a crew that hauls its debris out instead of letting an acre quietly absorb it.

What's included
What we build out back.
One project, one permit set, one crew, whether the yard needs a single pavilion or a full rebuild from the back door to the fence line.
Summer kitchens under the pavilion
Permitted gas, water and electrical out to the pavilion, weather-rated cabinetry and counters, and vent hoods sized for the grill you actually bought.
Pavilions and pergolas, engineered
Covered structures with designed footings and uplift connections, detailed to pick up the roof pitch and fascia of the house instead of merely standing beside it.
Pool decks and terraces
Resurfacing and expanding pool decks with drainage resolved first, so the terrace sheds water toward the swale rather than back against the slab.
Driveways, gates and fencing
Long approach drives, circular turnarounds, paddock and estate fencing, and entry gates, coordinated with district easements and city right-of-way requirements.
Stucco, paint and openings
Exterior restoration, color changes and impact-rated door and window replacement, so the front of the house catches up with whatever just happened out back.
