Most Brickell towers built before the mid-nineties came with the kitchen walled off in its own little room, back when a bay view apparently was not something a cook needed. Kitchen work in Brickell means permits from the City of Miami Building Department for the electrical, plumbing, and wall changes, plus your association's approval before a hammer swings. Tower rules shape the design more than most owners expect: ventilation is usually recirculating or tied to existing building exhaust, gas is rare above the ground floor so induction rules the range, and relocating a sink is governed by where the building's risers actually run. None of this kills a great kitchen. It just means the layout should be designed by people who have read your building's rules first.
