Because those walls are often load-bearing block and those moves involve gas, electrical, and plumbing, a real Palmetto Bay kitchen remodel is a permitted project. Plans go to the Village of Palmetto Bay Building and Permitting Department, structural openings get engineered and inspected, and any contractor doing the work must be registered on the Village's permitting portal. The high-end difference shows up in the tolerances.
